You have one minute for each puzzle. To perform an operation, say, 4 x 5, click 4, drag so that the x is highlighted, then click the 5. To win a level, make 24 using all four numbers (yay!). You lose a level if either you have only one number left which isn't 24 (oh no!), or you run out of time (oh no!!) You lose one point for not completing a level and gain two for solving one.
